The Path of Elation seems to concentrate on what the game is sorely lacking: non-traditional avenues of support that do not easily fall into preexisting molds. I’m guessing purely based on the name, but “Elation” sounds like buffs that go along with good combat states or ally synergies.

Why does this matter? Because new Paths completely shake up the meta. When Nihility got expanded in earlier versions, it created entirely new team compositions. Expect the same level of disruption here.
